Enterprise Club

Athlone Chamber and Athlone Community Task Force (ACT) are currently assessing the possibility of providing local support to anyone who is interested in developing a business idea, starting a business or even expanding a business. Two areas are under consideration:

The creation of an Enterprise Club

The objective is to establish an Enterprise Club which would provide a forum for people to meet on a regular basis to inspire enterprise, develop opportunities and pool ideas on supporting each other during the current recession. Membership would be open to all, including 3rd level students.

The provision of a Community Enterprise Centre to support business start-ups.

ACT and the Chamber also wish to assess the interest in a Community Enterprise Centre. This would be a business space with serviced units for those wising to set up their own business or for those who are self employed and are looking for business space.
