Athlone Community Taskforce has through the Educational Action Research Project, developed a number of initiatives with local Primary and Post-Primary schools “To create conditions to support young people to make a positive transition from primary to post-primary school”. Following on from this, ACT is actively developing the Education strand of the Gateway Project, which will encourage young people to complete their education and face the working world with ability and confidence.
